Hello. I can't control the speed of the cooler on the motherboard myself (IPM87-MP REV 1.04). In the bios settings there is no choice of speed mode. It only shows the RPM data and nothing else. The SpeedFan program also does not allow you to independently adjust the cooler. How can this problem be solved?
Cpu: i7-4770
MB: IPM87-MP REV 1.04 (ver.bios: 80.22 date 11.11.2015) 2AF7
p.s.: another question. What is the latest BIOS version for this motherboard?

Speedfan is good for revealing S.M.A.R.T hard drive diagnostics but fan control seems hit and miss
Best off with manual speed control using pwm fan speed controller

Our expert @Prométhée found 80.23 bios but I suspect it will not control fan

Possibly corrupted or for a different revision of the motherboard. I had no problem downloading and executing it on a windows 11 system. Updating bios on older systems can be dangerous. If the current bios has no setting for fan speed control it is unlike the new bios will have it.
Question: is the fan making too much noise and you want to slow it down?
If system is running too hot best is to use an air duster. You may need to replace the fan if it is too old.

the cooler only works at low speeds. when the temperature of the processor rises, it does not rotate faster. the cooler is new, its revolutions are 500 - 2200. But according to the SpeedFan application, it is always 950.
