Hi, hope you can help.
Occasionally my laptop makes a loud crackling noise from the centre, kind of like heavy rain or a fire, that sort of irregular popping and crackling. I am almost certain its the fan as it stops when the fan stops. The sound is loud enough to feel it on the top and bottom of the laptop. Obviously this is quite concerning and any suggestions of how I could fix it myself would be great. I am slightly worried my computer fan might be robo-wars style chopping up the inside of my laptop lol.
While im not a total fool and quite comfy doing software repairs, I have no experience with hardware repairs (which I reckon this needs) and there are no hp certified repair shops near me so I am not sure if I should bring it to a local repair place or if it is worth making the journey. Any advice on this would also be appreciated.
🙂
