Currently I have my bios version as f.27, and it's been causing me performance issues especially when playing something like fps games or editing videos. I've been trying to update to version f.28, however, it says my system is incompatible, even though the update is 1 version later, and I believe all my drivers should be up to date after I've factory reset my computer today. Please let me know if there is a way to make my system "compatible". Thanks!

Hi, thank you for your quick response. Although I should probably upgrade my motherboard, I don’t have the money to do that right now. However, is there a way to downgrade a version of the bios? I haven’t been able to find a version f.26, and when I use win+b, the menu pop up as that I need a bios image.

hi
** After this BIOS update has been installed, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled.
Even if there could be a solution I prefer to abstain

Thank you for your response. By any chance do you know of how I could possibly reflash my current bios to see if it could possibly solve issues? I know there’s a bios flash button on some motherboard but I don’t believe hp has one. If there is a way to reflash, please let me know, thank you.

You have to see, if when you launch the update application, there is a proposal to make a USB key
but frankly I advise you not to try, even if there is a chance that one it works, and two that it is the problem
