Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Let's try this again. I had some work done on my computer and my DVD player that was bundled at purchase was removed. Can HP reinstall or do I need to purchase another?

If the DVD player is not physically there, you need to get it back.

If it is just a software issue, say so.  I am now confused.

Sorry, I did not mean to confuse you. The software is gone. The mechanism is there. They wiped my computer clean when they repaired it. I know HP can reinstall the software, I just don't know if they will. If they will how do I reach them to actually speak to someone. Thanks for your patience with me.
