And I'm running Windows 11. Not quite the latest because my C drive doesn't have the capacity for the most recent updates.

And to correct my terminology, I want to clone my C drive to the new SSD. Not mirror. I plan to replace the current SSD C drive with this new one after cloning the original.

 

It's been a long day. Sorry for the choice of words.

Did you try initializing the drive in Disk Management?

 

That would be the only suggestion I can offer.

I figured it out. I had to choose the C drive on the Magician then Data Migration to move the process forward. That wasn't readily apparent to my overworked brain today.
