FWIW, these 3D prints worked perfectly fine on a Elitedesk 800 G5 Tower. and slid into the 5.25 rails and clicked in perfectly.

Just snap them into the scre wholes of the drive.
I'm sure ther are ways to make them even beter or perhaps make them adapt for 2x 3.5 SSD's etc .

Just make sure about your orientation so the hardrive ends up flush with the face of the tower and your plastic i/o cover can clip back in

I suspect these would also be ok in a G3/G4 elitdesk tower as well and judging from the deisgner they probably fit the Z series as well

Hope this helps out

@tzallas,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Are you perchance referring to this part: HP 800/600 G4 G5 Mini Hard Drive Caddy with HD Fan,SATA Cable, Screws | eBay?

thanks for the link, but I'm afraind that is not it.

It is not the mini form factor,  please have alook at the title of the post "5.25 drive adapter" "TWR" and the links

this is the G5 Tower version,

hoping your experties extend to the G5 tower specifics 🤞

cheers

@tzallas,

Well, your message/product tags happen to refer to the "Desktop Mini" model -hence my response.

In any regards, I couldn't find the part number for an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Tower 5.25 Drive Adapter Assy.

 Thank you for pointing that out, I have corrected the product tag, that slipped passed me.😅

Shame about the missing part number on the drive assembly, thank you for looking.

If there is anyone that has any idea or could post  some photo of the numbers on theirs if they happen tohave one,  that would be fantastic

all that empty space would be a shame to go to waste in the case

Thank you
