Thx!!!!!

So many people ask the same question for such a long time but there is no change to this behavior.

Offering PAYING customers precipitately something like this that one needs to fix to be able to work with

it is not just silly or stubborn.

It is arrogant and idiotic, dear Mr(s) HP!

Thank god you posted this and I found it.

I definitely would have returned that Pavilion for refund because of this.

The way too small key inscriptions are annoying too, but I will live with it.

Best,

Gerhard

On newer computers, you need to hold down the "esc" key. Then you can opt to go into the BIOS settings. if i do this immediately returns to normal mode. because my F10 key is not alone working in my hp laptop. i have tested it in online keyboard tester. kindly give the solution for this.

Unfortunately, HP never gave me a solution. So I had to trash the keyboard I paid for that came with the system, and I purchased another keyboard that seems to work.

So HP rolls out a new BIOS update for us today...and it's still the same brain-damaged one with no option to remap the Function keys. So much for using business apps such as Bloomberg on this PC - or at least, with this keyboard. It's ridiculous that HP sells PCs with such a glaring lack of functionality.

I have the same problem with a pc HP Pavilion 27-xa0000 .

The only solution I have found is to use another keyboard.

I can´t believe!
