HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-1000i RCTO Base Model

Three month old system, still under warranty and based on previous experience don't want to contact HP support if I can avoid.  I have two 1 TB SSD drives -  WD_BLACK Gen4 SDCPNRY-1T00-1106.  One dive (not where OS is) is not consistenly mounting upon reboot and will randomly unmount.  Fortunantely, so far another reboot will mount the drive and it is then available.  Event viewer points to "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort2." with the source as "stornvme" and Event ID as 11.  I do not have Raid comfigured - nor Windows Storage Spaces.

I have applied all available updates to drivers and BIOS.

Any suggestions before I open a case and spend hours on phone with support and explaining I dont want to provide them with remote acceess?

I suggest running the Western Digital Dashboard SSD utility to check the health of the SSD.

Thanks, did that before....no problems detected and device firmware is up to date.

You can take screenshots of the issue to prove that it is real and not imagined and request a warranty repair from HP.

Otherwise, replacing the SSD would be out of pocket.
