Hi!

I want to replace the existing pre-installed VGA Flex IO Option Card on my current system (EliteDesk 800 G6 Mini) with a USB-C Flex IO Option Card. After a bit of research, I came across the USB-C Flex IO V2 Option Card (Part Number: 13L59AA), from HP's documentation, which should work. However, I was wondering if the older (V1?) Flex IO Option Cards are still compatible with my system as I can easily (and more cheaply) source one of those.

Part Numbers of older USB-C Flex IO Option Card in question: 3TK78AA, 3TK79AT, 3TK79AA

Also, any idea where I can source a 2x Type-A Hi-Speed USB 480Mbps signaling rate port for Flex Port 2? I know HP's documentation states that this must be configured at the time of purchase but maybe there's an option to add it later.

Thanks!

Hello

I can just confirm what uou already discovered:

older USB-C Flex IO Option Card: 3TK78AA, 3TK79AT3TK79AA are not compatible with 800 G6 DM

2x Type-A Hi-Speed USB 480Mbps signaling rate port for Flex Port 2nd is available only as a factory installed option.
