I am looking to upgrade my HP OMEN Obelisk Model #: 875-0034 I usually just buy pre-made PC's, I have replaced this rig with an OMEN 30 L, but I am wanting to upgrade this one for my kiddos. Where can I find:
1: Mother board type / what the max it can accommodate for the following:
a. CPU
b. GPU
c. PSU
Thank you in advance for any help that is provided.

@RAVEN13A , welcome to the Community.
Here are the Product Specifications for your computer. Look at the sections titled "Processor" and "Memory" for the compatible processors and memory. The power supply unit (PSU) is a standard ATX. Therefore, you can upgrade to any standard ATX that will fit. The amount of power necessary is based on the components.
Here are two HP Knowledge Base articles that will explain what to consider when adding or upgrading a video card, processor and memory:

Read these two articles and you will have a much better understanding of what will work.
Please click the "Yes" button if my reply was helpful and "Accept as Solution" if your problem is Solved!!

You want to go full bore?
Here you go:
a.) CPU: i9-9900 -but this processor is expensive, even via eBay. The second-best processor choice would be an i7-9700, which can be found around $200 like here: Intel Core i7-9700 Desktop CPU Processor 3.0 GHz Eight-Core SRG13 LGA 1151 65W | eBay. If your desktop already has the i7-9700 I wouldn't necessarily upgrade it, unless you really want the very best.
b.) The Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti graphics card is still considered decent. [EDITED:]
You probably have this particular GTX 1660-Ti GPU installed in your OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop PC - 875-0034, please acknowledge:
Considering your budget and such, you could consider replacing the stock HP RTX 1660 Ti with an ASUS Phoenix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 V2 Gaming Graphics Card- PCIe 4.0, 12GB GDDR6, such as here: ASUS Phoenix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 V2 Gaming Graphics Card- PCIe 4.0, 12GB GDDR6 memory, HDMI 2.1,....
The advantage of this particular graphics card is that your existing 500 watt power supply will suffice -no need to replace it, all the while boosting this desktop's gaming capabilities substantially higher. Also, all things considered, this graphics card is very reasonably priced on Amazon right now, even compared with eBay, Newegg, etc. If interested, I wouldn't wait too long. When people realize a respectable deal when it stares them in the face, they tend to be sold out all too quickly.
[EDIT:] As of 09:00 AM MST 05/26/2022 -How quickly? Well: "Only 1 left in stock - order soon." That means that almost the entire ASUS Phoenix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 inventory disappeared in less than 12 hours...
[EDIT:] Another GPU option that would provide a major graphics upgrade, would be this option: "Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB Graphics Card Dell G7CH1", such as available right now (05/26/2022) via eBay (competitively priced): https://www.ebay.com/itm/265695447883?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.S....
c.) There are three probable upgraded power supplies [ EDIT: If you decide to go with the aforementioned compact GTX 3060 or compact RTX 2060 Super GPUs, don't worry about upgrading your PSU ]
1.) HP Omen 875 750 watt power supply, p/n: L37964-800, like here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255415886793?epid=15045804015&hash=item3b77f923c9:g:WAUAAOSwreVh5rwp&amdata...
2.) HP Omen 30L 750 watt power supply, p/n: L84096-003, like here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255241324914?epid=23050647978&hash=item3b6d918972:g:a9YAAOSwT1hhm8Ib&amdata...
3.) HP OMEN OBELISK 875 800 watt power supply, p/n: M19770-003, like here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324749698925?epid=18035766877&hash=item4b9c97276d:g:O50AAOSwHvthFGJL&amdata...
I am 90% certain pick #1 is a go, I'm still researching #2 and #3 -stay tuned.
d.) Don't forget your RAM: you want at least 2 x 8 GB or, if you're so inclined to spend the money: 2 x 16 GB DDR4 PC4-21300 2666 MHz UDIMM 288-pin RAM sticks. If you have one 8 GB RAM stick, you could choose to purchase an IDENTICAL 8 GB RAM stick, if you already have 2 x 8 GB RAM sticks running at 2666 MHz you could choose to leave that alone since 16 GB total RAM is sufficient for almost all gaming. By the way, to state the obvious: 2 x 4 GB is insufficient.
[EDITED:] These RAM picks are among the best and highly regarded:
Samsung 2 x 8 GB DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, UDIMM, Non-ECC, 1.2V, CL19, 288-pin desktop RAM memory upgrade kit, p/n: M378A1K43CB2-CTD, such as here: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2666MHz-PC4-21300-Computer-M378A1K43CB2-CTD/dp/B08LQ87QW9/ref=sr_1_3?...
Samsung 16 GB DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHZ, Unbuffered DIMM, Non-ECC, 1.2V, CL 19, 288-pin desktop RAM memory module, p/n: M378A2K43CB1-CTD (you will need two of them), such as here: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-PC4-21300-2666MHZ-desktop-memory/dp/B07F6L771D/ref=sr_1_5?crid=31HP3Z...
e.) For gaming purposes, don't forget to upgrade your primary boot drive to a 1 TB SSD if you haven't done so already.
Hope this is helpful -will continue to update my recommendations. [EDIT: pretty much done for now, unless you have additional questions ]
Kind Regards,

Btw, you may wonder what my HP upgrade credentials are?
Fair enough.
I invite you to take a look at one of my legacy HP upgrade projects: (1) Solved: Upgrading HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF - HP Support Community - 8251218.
Incidentally, my next "where few have gone before" HP desktop upgrade project is going to be the HP Z2 G4 SFF.
