HP ProDesk 600 G4 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently i was gifted two HP ProDesk 600 G4 MT office computers and since they have decent CPUs and also came with M.2 drives i decided to look into some options to upgrade them to be able to use them for older games LAN parties as guest machines. I have purchased some more RAM modules (2x RAM 8GB DDR4 SK Hynix 2400MHz CL17) so i took both 4GB from one machine and made one with 4x4GB and one with 2x8GB, then i stumbled upon this older post here:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/PSU-upgrade-for-the-hp-prodesk-...
So i bought two of those PSUs recommended by NonSequitur777, and installed them.

I would like to ask if someone can confirm that my machines will now be able to run aforementioned RTX 3060 12GB cards (6+2 pin versions) before i go and purchase them.

Thanks in advance for reply or maybe other GPU suggestions.

@F_Ladislav,

And likewise, I fortuitously stumbled across your post!

Yes, I can confirm that the aforementioned 400-watt power supply has sufficient juice to power a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 3060 model:

You probably want to check how the RTX 3060 pricing compares in your country to an RTX 4060 (here in the US they actually sell for less new than an RTX 3060).

Kind Regards,
