GTX 1050 TI and HP p6-2475eo

Hello, in 2013 i bought a HP p6-2475eo.

Now the graphic card, which came with the computer has started to make loud noises.

Also the graphic card does not do well in games at all.

So, a person recommended me a GTX 1050 TI. He said it will work with most of prebuilt computers.

Will the EVGA GTX 1050 TI work with my computer, the HP p6-2475eo.

The GTX 1050 requires the following:

1. Minimum 300 watt power supply. (Your PC meets this test).

2. Length of standard card is 5.7 inches. (You must measure along the x16 PCIe slot to be sure the card will fit in the tower).

3. UEFI BIOS. (Your PC meets this test).

4. Dual slot. (you must verify you can remove adjacent backplate on the rear chassis I/O panel.

You will then have to uninstall the current graphics drivers and enter the BIOS to disable Secure boot and enable Legacy boot before you install the 1050.

The computer has the required dual slot.

I have heard some people just insert the new graphic card and then install the drivers without changing the BIOS and deleting the old card's drivers? Or you can not do this with HP?

Secure boot is a protective scheme. It is part of Windows 8 thru 10.

 Follow the advise given. OK?
