HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2234
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi! I'm considering getting a different CPU cooler, mainly because why not.

What would be a good cooler to consider using with my specific prebuilt? I know nothing whatsoever in this regard, hence why I am asking.

@Slasher-I7,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

I would recommend the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 90 SE (also compatible with the Erica6 AM4 processors) as I installed it in my HP Pavilion TP01-3003 upgrade project: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-an-HP-Pavilion-TP01-3....

Seems to cool my hot running i7-12700KF (12-Cores, 20-Threads, 3.60 GHz up to 5.00 GHz, 125→150*-watt TDP) just fine, though I did also improve the overall air flow through my case.

* Throttled to 150-watt max TDP.

Kind Regards,
