Hp pro 3400
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So my hp is running win 10 pro. I'm trying to install a gpu 1050ti and/or 750ti

After much research I have found out the bios currently v7xx does not support these cards. And v8 does support higher cards, now in win10 there is no bios update to v8 however in win8 there is. To save me alot of time I am wondering if I downgrade the OS to win8 and do the bios update to v8 will they or 1 of the gpus work. I have a sufficient psu and everything.

I know things about pc hardware but the software shoots my knowledge down there.

A literal yes or no will do. Many thanks

@Burayos,

MSI makes a GTX 750Ti card with a BIOS switch.  https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=273409.0

I would suggest you contact MSI concerning this card, and ask if there are other hybrid cards.
