Hello Experts,
I purchased HP Slimeline 290-p0057il i3 -8100 (coffee lake) desktop six month back which is working fine. It has 4 GB RAM and integrated gpu. But I like to increase the memory and planned to take a new one of 8gb and I like to install Graphics card also but due to its small foam factor I need low profile gpu. So please guide me and suggest me which RAM (Specifications) and GPU is the best for my desktop.
Waiting for your early response.
Regards

Hi:
You cannot add an internal video card because there is no PCI express expansion slot.

You should be able to upgrade the memory though. The Crucial memory site indicates the max is 2 x 8 GB.

You're very welcome.
That is interesting, because the specs I posted yesterday list no PCIe x 16 slot.
Since apparently the specs were missing that info, and if that is the motherboard you have, with a 180W power supply, the best you can do would be the nVidia GT 710, which only draws 19W of power.
But the GT 710 would be better than the onboard Intel graphics.
I don't know anything about upgrading power supplies, so if you want to do that to add a better card, please start a new topic.
I only have added video cards that work with the power supplies that came with my PC's.
