Hi, I am considering upgrading my computer's (HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-1020) graphics card, and while I'm pretty sure I can handle the actual installation, I'm relatively clueless in regards to picking one.
While I have done some research, I am not too confident that I am capable of finding a viable and compatible one.
The primary criterion for my search is an upgrade that is noticeably superior to my current graphics card (GTX 1650). Ideally, I'm aiming for one that performs at the level of, or surpasses, the GTX 1070. In consideration of cost, I am inclined towards a more budget-friendly option without compromising the fulfillment of the aforementioned specifications. This doesn't imply a strict preference for the cheapest option, but rather an emphasis on affordability within the context of the specified requirements.
Thanks for your response!

@Patrik12 , welcome to the Community.
This is a nicely written request for help.
Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what to consider when adding or upgrading a video card.
The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP. The most powerful PSU that HP sells for your computer is 500W (L05757-800) if they sell it in your country.
The GTX 1070 that you referenced requires a minimum of 500W w/1x8-pin supplemental power connector. Therefore, I am not certain that any of the cards that would work would give you much increase in system performance.
