I own a HP Pavillion ALL in one PC 27-d0000i IDS Base Model desktop. It currently has a nvidia geforce mx350 graphics card installed. I am thinking of upgrading the card to a nvidia gtx970 graphics card.
- Can this be done to this PC?
- If so
- How easy to do? Videos anywhere showing this?
- If the graphics card upgrade was to be done to my desktop any other system considerations to keep in mind?
- For example: I currently run a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400T CPU @ 2.00GHz 1.99 GHz processor. Will this be enough to run the new graphics card?
- I currently have 16gb of ram. Enough for new graphics card?
- Any other system considerations to keep in mind before I upgrade graphics card?
- If so
Thank you all for your input. Look forward to replies. Much appreciated.

hi
change the graphics card on this type of computer, may be very complicated, if not impossible
You will probably only be able to install certain models if possible.
And on condition of replacing the power supply, which could be insufficient
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-all-in-one-pc-27-d0000i/37914264/product-info
See in the list here, see the models with the same motherboard, it can give you some clues, but I doubt it's easily achievable
If you have 16 gb of ram it may be enough no matter the video card, it is what you need for some applications that need to be taken into account, see this:
Add RAM
But think carefully the risk of breaking something with this type of computer, is very big, not easy for upgrades

Thankyou so much for your advice. You have just save me a lot of time and effort. Based on your reply I think it would be prudent to NOT attempt a graphics card upgrade on my machine. Thankyou again for your helpful support.

Thanks
You're welcome
I wish I could confirm the opposite.
but in your case, indeed, it is better not to waste time and money, to see an unusable computer!
