Gtx 1650 super to rtx 3060

Hey there. Recently I was thinking of buying a Rtx 3060 but hp has a proprietary power connector on their motherboard that only works their power supplies. I currently have the 400w power supply installed in my system with an Amd Ryzen 5 3500 and Gtx 1650 super which on its own only requires about 100 w at max. But on Nvidia's website they recommend a psu of atleast 550w. So I just wanted to know if there was any possibility of me being able to install the Rtx 3060 into my system without basically having to replace half of the pc in the process.

Hello

HP provides a 500 watt PSU upgrade for you PC. But you need a minimum 550 watt PSU so the 3060 may not be a good fit.

I would suggest a minimum 650 watt to 750 watt PSU upgrade to provide a buffer when upgrading to a 3060.

the maximum you can install here without major modification is the 500w model

Depending on the model / manufacturer of the graphics card, the requirements may be more or less important
see if possible to find a model that needs less power
