Sir @Resistencia
Your HP Pro Tower 290 g9, is supported with rtx 4060 series as mentioned on Quick Specs on your PC.
But on my 290 g4 micro tower, the maximum graphics card is only rtx 1660ti,
Thats why im asking if upgrading my gpu into rtx 3060 or rtx 4060 is possible for my machine and without having error?
Im thinking that maybe my motherboard cannot hold up even i have enough psu.

Hi @Kabayan
If you use the RTX low profile, it needs a 450 Watt power supply, if you use the NVIDIA standard you need a 550 Watt power supply.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your 500-watt power supply can comfortably power either a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 or an RTX 4060 Ti powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as these examples:
1.) RTX 4060: ASUS DUAL RTX 4060 OC Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database or: MSI RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X BLACK OC Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database
2.) RTX 4060 Ti: ASUS DUAL RTX 4060 Ti OC Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database or: GIGABYTE RTX 4060 Ti WINDFORCE OC Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

Hi @Kabayan
The 290 G9 with the same power supply uses the RTX 4060, I don't think you'll have any problems using the RTX 4060 on your 290 G4.
