Hey guys,
I am running a HP 600 G9 Mini and, similar to the guys over at servethehome, wanted to add 10 GBits Ethernet to it. HP provides the 56Q71AA Card for that with Marvel chip, which should be FlexIO V2.
Well I ordered this over here in germany, there are now after 1 year plenty available somehow - but it does not fit. It seems to be Flex IO, but the edge is not bitten off. It is plain square. As far as my digging goes, this seems to fit into the Z2 Tower series and maybe the Z2 Mini G9. However even for the mini based on some Mainboard pictures this looks tight.
Now. HOW THE HELL CAN HP sell two different items with the same model number? 56Q71AA
For reference how it seemed to look like a year ago: https://www.servethehome.com/hp-flex-io-v2-10gbase-t-module-56q71aa-for-1l-pcs-marvell/
