Has anyone tried and successfully upgraded to an Intel 3770K upgrade in this computer?
I see a thread where one person states the Intel 3770k worked "OK on his Intel Q65 Express Chipset. But no specifics to this actual model.

i tried a i7 3770 and it didn't damage the board at all. all is back to normail for the foreseeable future.

I don't see how that could be possible...
This is what Intel states about installing 3rd gen processors in PC's with the Q65 and Q67 chipsets...

The best processor you can install in the 6200 Pro would be the i7-2600.
Below is the link to the 6200 Pro quickspecs.
The only supported processors can be found on pages 6 & 7.
...and here is a discussion regarding a processor upgrade which continues to baffle me to this day...why the i7-2600 processor did not work in this person's PC...
