helloo..

 

im user DC7700p.

 

yesterday i buy the new procesor upgrade type Core 2 Duo E7500 (before im using E6300), and i read articel post at forum HP for DC7700p can running up to E7600, so i buy E7500.

 

first time im install this prosesor. and first booting text is "Update microcode error 101 bla bla bla" and my bios using latest version v03.05. but im still boot and press F1.

 

and few second a fan speed is running fullspeed and very noisy. im check temperature but its not overheat. but why the procesor fan and power suply fun running full speed ?

 

how to fix it error microupdate on my PC ?

Hi:

 

See the discussion below for how to update the microcode to get rid of that error.

 

Basically I have done all of the work for you, other than to visit your house to do it myself.

 

Also note that you will need to run that Crystalmark utility to make the processor run at the correct FSB speed, everytime you boot into Windows unless you know how to run a batch file to launch the program automatically.

The microcode updates should be available from Windows Update in the optional hardware update section.

 

There is no microcode update that I am aware of at the Intel website.

its Work for Update Microcode and My Fan Speed is normally again 😄 im very happy 🙂

 

but i dont understand to setting multiplier management on CrystalCPUID, and this software not compatible for Win 7 Pro 32bit (i see description at the website).

 

please give me solution for setting multiplier for running maximum speed my processor.

That utility is good for both 32 and 64 bit operating systems...It will work on W7 too.

 

You'll have to install the software and see how it works.  I've never used it myself.
