Hi @SenolSahin,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot, it’s very helpful. Here’s what’s happening:

What the Image Shows

  • The HP BIOS Update and Recovery tool says:
“The BIOS you are installing is older than the current version in the system and cannot be executed.”
  • This means your system already has a newer BIOS than the update HP Support Assistant keeps suggesting.

Why This Happens

  • Your OMEN 35L originally had ROM Family SSID 8CF1 (F.10) installed successfully on 14.08.2025.
  • HP Support Assistant is now offering ROM Family SSID 8CF3 (F.14), but your system likely already has F.14 or newer installed after the recovery USB updates.
  • HP Support Assistant sometimes doesn’t clear old update tasks even after successful installs, causing repeated prompts.

Which BIOS Is Up-to-Date?

  • If the tool says the offered update is older than your current version, your PC already has the latest BIOS (or a newer one).
  • You can confirm by:
    1. Press F10 during boot → Enter BIOS Setup.
    2. Check BIOS Version and ROM Family SSID
      • If it shows F.14 (8CF3) or higher, you’re good.

How to Stop HP Support Assistant from Repeating This Update

  1. Clear HP Support Assistant Cache
    • Open HP Support Assistant → SettingsHealth Analysis and Updates → Clear update history.

  2. Disable the Specific Update
    • In HP Support Assistant, go to Updates, find the BIOS update, and select Ignore this update.

  3. Manual Check

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
