I'm looking to make this little PC into a dedicated media system. I already gave it a Blu-Ray player successfully (and tested it, that's why XP instead of something more modern). But I have a question about the system's hardware itself:

On the motherboard, there is a Mini-PCI Express slot. I'm looking to either put an SSD into it, or add another SATA controller to it.

I'm suspecting it's meant for a Wifi card, but I'd rather use hardwire and add an SSD.

This is what I had in mind.

Or this one.

I guess a better question would be, is the slot a standard one, or proprietary and usable only by a Wifi card?

Thank you in advance for your help! 🙂

Okay, apparently no one knows the hardware.
