Hi,
Earlier today, keyboard had a yellow light periodically flashing. I thought it was a battery losing power so I changed out the batteries. After that the keyboard will not work
I tried pushing in on th blue connect button on bottom of keyboard. Still no joy!
Is there some button hidden on PC that I should press as well?
Would appreciate any advice and recommendations
Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I see that your experiencing issue with HP wireless keyboard not functioning, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Connection Issues
While you respond to that, let's try these steps: If a wireless mouse or keyboard does not respond, check for connection and power issues: go to Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Troubleshooting.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

@Echo_Lake,
First, thank you for responding to my inquiry.
Next, as to your questions:
- The flashing yellow light appeared on Friday so I changed batteries out on Sunday and keyboard would not be recognized by PC.
- It was not after a recent update.
- I found the HP video on troubleshooting wireless mice & keyboard. I took th wireless receiver out from the back of PC and put in another USB Port; pressed the little blue button on the underside of the keyboard for 5-10 seconds dna waited; tried this several times -- NO JOY.
- Throughout this problem the wireless mouse has been connected fine
I am coming to the conclusion that the keyboard is not longer getting power???
What else can I do??
Thanks
