HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC

I already ordered the HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC without the optional Flex Port 2 cards.

Please can you provide the part numbers to purchase them separately?

- NVIDIA GeForce 3050 Ti discrete GPU

- Dual Type-A Hi-Speed USB 480Mbps signaling rate port

Thank you!

@Matt1Ghz,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

One of my more challenging but rewarding upgrade projects was an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 DM (Desktop Mini) and took it way off the proverbial Reservation.  I am mentioning this, because I have an inkling what you are up against, so to speak.

And, lest I forget, this is not the first time I have delved into the query you posed: Elitedesk 800 g9 dgpu 3050 ti or 3050 max q? - HP Support Community - 8678219.

Firstly, despite digging deep into the HP Parts Universe, I have not been able -yet, that is, to confirm an actual part number for the Nvidia GeForce 3050 Ti discrete GPU for your HP Elite Mini 800 G9, although I think it has p/n: N05386-001 "SPS-PCA DGPU 60W FY22".

HP offers this part for sale (brace yourself) for the eye-watering pricing of $918 -that is, if it ever becomes available again:

I recall that a couple of years ago one of these modules was offered for sale north of $700 via eBay.

But that is not the only part you'll need if you were able to get a hold of one of these GPU units.

In addition, you'll have to purchase a more powerful 180-watt power supply with p/n: L56595-001 "SKO-180W ADPTR, PFC, SMART 7.4mm".

And possibly this part (not sure): M84700-001 "SPS-PCA IO2 GPU BOARD".

And last but not least, you'll likely have to upgrade your GPU/CPU heatsink assembly with p/n: N03130-001 "SPS-HEATSINK DIS 35W G9 DM", possibly also an additional GPU cooling fan with p/n: N03127-001 "SPS-FAN DGPU G9 DM":

The other part number you asked for has p/n: M11562-001 "SPS-PCA USB-A DUAL OPTION BOARD", which HP actually has in stock:

The moral of this story is this: if you want a certain PC/Mini configuration, better order it from the get-go.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Thats all the info I possibly could have hoped for, lol. Minus the huge price tag.

Thank you very much!
