Hello,
i bought my HP Omen 880-044ns on 2018 and i feel like it could get some upgrades. I never bought anything for it, it is still original, how it cane from the store.
Sometimes playing games, I feel the fps drop a bit amd the video image freezes for a sec.
I read here somewhere that i can buy 2 more memory cards, with 4GB RAM each, and a dedicated memory for the operative system.
Also, yesterday the computer turned off and when I started again, I hear some beeps, will try to unplug it and clean soon.
But I want to ask, what can I upgrade in my hardware?
Here is the link for the Desktop that I own:

Thank you, best regards.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP 880-044ns Desktop PC (2BW18EA) as fitted with the Higos motherboard (SSID: 8309), which is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you could upgrade your power supply if needed with any industry standard power supply, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case.
According to the specs, your PC is already fitted with the best available processor, the Ryzen7 1800X -please verify. If you don't have this CPU installed, this is the best compatible CPU for your desktop.
You could upgrade to 4 x 8GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks.
According to the specs, you got a 500-watt power supply and an RX 580 graphics card -please verify. You could upgrade your GPU (without changing your 500-watt power supply) to a smaller sized (two fan) RTX 4060 model, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this model: ASUS DUAL RTX 4060 V2 Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database.
Hope this was helpful.

Thanks for your answer, i was looking for it.
Saw your response about a Omen earlier in 2022, where you said to add the following: M.2 PCIe NVMe 2280 Gen3 SSD
You still recommend to do it, in my case?
Thank you once again!

Yes, I most certainly would: make the M.2 NVMe SSD your primary (boot) drive. There are plenty of instructional YouTube videos available how to do that.

Is this the one you talked about?
Thank you.

I figured out that my Omen have a samsung PM961 128GB PCle NVME SSD.
Will it be enough?
I figured out also that the troubleshoot are 3 long beeps and 2 short beeps, wich indicates that is a memory issue. Should I buy 4x 8 DDR Ram like you suggested?
Thank you!

Well, all I can say is that using a 128GB M.2 NVMe SSD as your primary (boot) drive is cutting it way close, I wouldn't recommend it.
Yes, the Timetec RAM I indicated should work A-OK. Why don't you order one 2x8GB RAM kit first, and only use this RAM in your PC. Please use compressed ("canned") air to thoroughly clean your RAM slots. Btw, you should not mix RAM (use the same brand, model, and capacity) in order to avoid lower RAM performance and memory issues. When you ascertained that your RAM issues are gone, order the second 2x8GB RAM kit.
