Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

 

My grandparents desktop computer is getting the error message “BIOHD-8” When doing a system check.

It says it is a hard drive failure.

I have searched the hp website for compatiable hard drives and cannot find any.

are they still made for this model? Or are they better off buying a new PC?

HP Recommended

That model has a 640 Gb hard drive and can be upgraded to a 1Tb drive for a resonalbe expense.  Here is the support page for that model
