Hi,
I would like to know if it's normal that system fan is noisy for couple of seconds just at start-up and shut-down on Pavilion 27-xa0019ng.
After this brief period (2-5 seconds) the noise disappear and system fan spins quietly.
Thanks for your help,
Livio

Hi @mlivio ,
That is liable to get worse over time. Is your PC still in warranty? The Warranty would cover the fan replacement.
Warranty check.

It depends on what you mean by noisy.
If you are hearing vibration and buzzing the answer is that it is abnormal.
If you just mean you hear the fan start up on, then it is normal.

Hi Erico,
thanks for your help.
Actually I'm hearing like a rubbing sound just at start-up and shut-down for 3-5 seconds and then the fan gets very quiet.
I guess this means the system fan is either starting (during start-up) or stopping (during shut-down) and before it goes to normal spinning speed or before it stops, it does this sound.
