I had two monitors set up for a while and all of a sudden the second monitor stopped receiving a picture. The computer recognizes the monitor is hooked up to it. The monitor works on other devices so I know its not the monitor. Could the internal graphics card be damaged and can I install a new graphics card to solve this issue?

Have you tried to connect #1 monitor to connection 2 and vice versa as that would ensure that the cable and monitor work fine when reversed (although if the monitor works fine on another system that pretty well answers that question). And yes it is possible that the integrated graphic is having trouble. This forum page has more information about a graphic card installation.

@wheelnguy,

What GPU card did you install?

As you know, the integrated graphics (motherboard) are disabled when your using a GPU card.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics
