I would like to upgrade my power supply to at least 300 / 400 w. There are a lot of power suppliers out there but they don't show what is compatible.
Has anybody upgraded ? If so, maybe you can help with wattage , brand , etc. Thanks !

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Can't find your PC using 570-P065. Don't know what PSU HP has included with your system.
Measure your existing PSU. Standard ATX PSU dimensions are around: 5.9" x 5.5" x 3.4". SFF PSUs are designed for use in Micro ATX or Mini ATX cases.
Higher wattage PSUs are usually a little longer.

If that is an HP 570-p065SE unit, it has an 180W standard ATX PSU. The motherboard is the Lubin. That will present a problem unless you keep any new graphic card the same length, or not to exceed the measured length from the expansion rail to the power supply cabling. Longer dual width cards will not seat because these slam into the wiring and 24 pin header.
If you can mantain your zeal, and purchase a short card, the Corsair CX500 or 550 PSU is an exact fit.

WB2001 has the correct pc. But for some reason the issue is wrong. My issue is the POWER supply . I want to upgrade the power supply. At this time I only want to upgrade the power supply. I am looking for information about what type / brand of power supply is compatible with my HP 570-p065SE computer with a Lubin motherboard

Hi 87fiero,
Please measure the existing PSU (LxHxW).
Also check clearance around the existing PSU. You can't install a six inch widget in a four inch space.
A SFF PSU may work in your system.
Do you realize how hard it is to help when one does not know the existing PSU dimensions? Very hard to work in a vacuum!
Your motherboard is 20.5x22.0 cm (8.1x8.7 in).
This is not a uATX motherboard. Your chassis may be a mini ATX chassis. Or the chassis may be a HP proprietary chassis??
We can't help you if you don't help us.
I don't have your HP PC in my possession. I have no knowledge of your PC's current PSU dimensions or what size PSU can be installed in your PC.

This will address the issue.
The actual PSU in the HP 570 is a standard ATX,
This was verified within this other posting/reply.
Sometimes it is difficult to work within the information offered by the request.
