Hi
After scouring manuals, I have been unable to confirm whether the HP Pavilion 590-p0207a supports SATA M2, instead of just NVMe.
Assistance is appreciated.
Richard

Hi Prométhée
Thank you for your reply. The product page may mention the specifications below, but that was not related to my question.
I was trying to find if the M.2 slot supported both PCIe NVMe AND SATA. It turns out it does just by trying and following your links. Therefore you helped, at least in part. Thank you.

hi
Do you already have the computer?
If we look at the product page it is mentioned
Internal Storage | 2 TB 7200 rpm SATA |
Hard drive (2nd) | 128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD |
I don't have time to make the whole list
but also check the models equipped with the same motherboard here

HP Pavilion 590-p0028ns Product Specifications
256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

Hello
you have not contacted HP directly?
I answered by relation to what we could find in the product pages
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000a/19390500/product-info
I gave you the link of the different models in order to check for yourself
Because in a majority of cases, we find as information
PCIe® NVMe ™ M.2 SSD
Now, unfortunately despite several requests, hp does not provide us with all the information we would like for motherboards, we can only assume unless we have concrete examples from other users.
But there I don't have time to research, and it's not always conclusive!
If hp can't give you the answer, then I'm not sure where we're going
