Product: Pavilion p6787c

computer turns on, fans power up but the blue light on the chassis switch never comes on. Does not boot

@Sdeiter544 , welcome to the forum.

 

Based on the age of your computer, I believe that you may have a failed power supply unit (PSU).  There are numerous guides online to help you troubleshoot it.  Also, you should test your memory.  This can be done by removing all of the sticks and installing one at a time in slot #1 closest to the processor.
