HP Pavilion Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 800
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot use any of the keyboard's function keys without pressing the fn key.

I couldn't configure it from the bios or the OS. I've also tried (sharpkeys and MSKL) and didn't work.

I'm using the keyboard heavily everyday and I cannot use the fn key every time I need to use a function key.

hi
unfortunately the only possible solutions currently are software, or hardware replacement
There is a solution, but that is to block the key, and you may break the keyboard
Unfortunately either this is not suitable or user feedback

If you have tried everything the only option would be to block this key.

Thank you Prométhée for your prompt answer
But I don't understand what do you mean by block the fn key? Is this physically block or what?

And also I want to ask HP team a question?
Why should I buy a 60 USD keyboard that lacks a basic feature like this then work very hard to find a solution to use the keyboard?
This is the first keyboard I've ever seen that force you to press fn key before any function key without any configuration to disable this?

Yes, unless I'm mistaken, I gave you the links
a user has found a trick, but the key must be dismantled!
another him, simply blocked the key with a kind of paperclip
Hp won't answer you here

Thank you Prométhée for your reply

But even blocking (or disabling) the 'fn' key with a paperclip will not solve the issue.

For example, the 'Right Shift" key will be converted to "Pause" because the 'fn' key is always clicked.

There is another weird issue in this keyboard, there is no "right ctrl" key at all, instead there is a "\" key.

I can't imagine how HP released a keyboard like this.

I Lost all the money I paid for this keyboard without any support from HP.

I created a support case then I called HP customer service and the HP certified service center and no one helped me.

I don't know what should I do now.

Sorry
The only thing you can do then is try to get a refund from your seller!
As I indicated the only possible options are the ones indicated
