I'm trying to replace the internal harddrive with an SSD, and I want to transfer everything over to the SSD beforehand.  I bought a cable along with the SSD, USB 3.0 to SATA adapter.  I plug it into the right-side USB 3.0 slot and the SSD signifies that is is on.  I check file explorer, not there.  Minitool partions doesn't detect it either.

The question is does USB 3.0 to SATA adapter actually work ? If YES, you may have to initialize it first. Please try
