Hello

 

Not really sure which topic to place this under so figured this was the best. Trying to install a HP Scanjet 4670 series scanner - yes I know it is obsolete, but it is the only scanner that I can scan large items (well in excess of 11x17). 😉

 

The unit worked fine on my old system (Omen 880-149) that I had to replace due to a motherboard failure. I have installed the driver, and it is recognized, but when I got to scan the lamp does not come on when scanning and the scan bar will run to the right limit and will keep running. If I cancel the scan the bar will return home and then the lamp(s) come on (like working opposite).

 

Now, my new system is running Windows 11 Pro as opposed to the old one running Windows 11 (Home?).

 

My other scanner, Canon 9000F, works fine.

 

Any suggestions?
