Hi, my backpack PC CPU utilisation rate is around 800mhz when I am using it on battery only(without external battery). It goes up to around high 2ghz when I plug in the power socket.
How do achieve the 2ghz cpu speed with just the battery only.

@Yan43 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the HP VR Backpack PC G2 - CPU Throttling.
HP Pc’s uses a customized BIOS setting (Tattooed BIOS) of which some features including overclocking and increasing the VRAM are locked.
This is done in the best interest of safeguarding the PC for the optimal performance and not to cause any extensive component failure.
To conclude, the VRAM on your PC is already shared with a specific value, and it's locked and cannot be changed.

Praveen,
Thanks for responding, I found my answer from the HP White Paper for HP VR BAckpack G2.
In the paper, its stated that the internal battery in the backpack is meant to support hotswap.
By design, the CPU will not function to its max performance when without the external battery or the plug to a wall outlet.
Thank you.
