Is it possible to add a SATA SSD to the Pavilion Wave 600-a009? It didn't come with one but it does have a vacant m.2 slot. I saw that it is possible to add a PCIe SSD but have seen contradicting information about whether a m.2 SATA is compatible.
Thanks!

Yes, it has one M.2 socket 3 which is suitable for M.2 SSD.
- Expansion Slots:
- One M.2 socket 1, key A
- One WLAN LED header
- One M.2 socket 3, key M
Its specs
Socket 3 is designed for both SATA and PCIe but with key M it supports faster SSD which is PCIe.
Regards.
