@Diggity-Dabbs,

That looks awesome, thank you for sharing!

I too enjoy going where few have gone before, such as with my HP EliteDesk 800 G4 DM (Desktop Mini) upgrade project:

so. Still have not given up on “toping off” this HP23.
but i can say, that style of cpu cooler on this build i tested does come with some moderate vibration..

I could feel it all over my desk. Even on the keyboard/mouse tray. i did try to put some impact foam under the pc to dampen the vibrations… but i noticed i can see the whole screen shake a little instead of the desk vibrating. Soo!!! Definitely going to have to go with an AiO water cooled CPU setup.

i am still at a loss for accurate specs on this specific mobo. other then what cpu-z showed me. But with a little investion work from that info, i have seen some other people with the EXACT “chipset” and mobo model

——————-

Pegatron corp. model: 2AEE

chipset: AMD K15 IMC.

in a cpu-z window with at least an A6-5400k. Which is only a few % better then the a4-5300.  Both have the TDP of 65w.  So i am borderline feeling the tinkerer’s itch to just grab both an a8-5500 & an a10-5700 (both also 65w TDP) and give them both a test run on this b130z (Ackee-U) mobo.

the main difference i see between all 4 of these CPU are either the difference in L1 cache, L2 cache and the amount of cores/threads.    All of them are TDP 65w.

the A10-5800k i first attempted was listed on cpu world as 99% chance. And the aforementioned CPU a6-5400k i saw on another post was also listed as 99% chance upgrade from the A4-5300.

for the price.. its worth it from a tinkerer’s POV to grab the 2 cpu that “say/show” 100% upgrade compatibility, and give it shot… its only about $10-$15 for each of the 2 CPU im gonna try.

just keeping an update rolling.
