Have developed a fairly large fan noise problem on boot up and does not stop. Have tried using compressed air to clear any debris to no avail. Is there a way/trick to remove the outer shell to better access the fan area to clean.

@Jim11-9 , welcome back to the forum.
What is the full model or product number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. Here is a guide to help you find it: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555

Thank you for the additional information, @Jim11-9!
I have reviewed the specifications and manuals for your AIO, but there is no information on how to open the case. Here is a video, not your exact model, but it may help you remove the back of the case:
If this video doesn't help, you can do a search to see if you can find one that is closer to your model. The picture in the HP documents isn't very clear.
