Product: HP ProDesk 600 G3 Mini DM

Hello,

I have a bare bones HP ProDesk 600 G3 Mini DM coming from eBay.  I have seen a plastic heatsink bracket mentioned while reading online.  I haven't been able to find one listed anywhere.  I do need to purchase a heatsink for this machine.  Is that plastic bracket necessary?  If so, does anyone have a part number and/or source for one?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

The heatsink+fan assembly you need for your HP ProDesk 600 G3 Desktop Mini (DM) has p/n: 914265-001, such as this eBay purchase option. The plastic part you're referring to is probably p/n: 914257-001 ("Air duct assembly for fan module") such as this eBay purchase option. I would recommend getting this part too.
