Hello,

I'm not an expert, absolutely..

what could be a nice graphic card to improve my computer?

I'm not a gamer, I just play sometimes old games (GP4, Call of Duty MW...)

would a Radeon RX550 4gb be a good upgrade? will it fit in the case? I can buy it for 102 €.

https://www.amazon.it/XFX-Scheda-Grafica-Radeon-Express/dp/B071QXB522/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_it_IT=%C3%85M%...

any other suggestion? my budget is around 100 €

here current specs of my computer

thank you very much

The RX550 will fit, but it must have the 310W PSU to power it.

The spreadsheet explains it.  Your 180W gets swapped out for a 310W. You add the RX550, and your happy.

@J_Cols,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can install the RX 550 graphics card on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer has a PCIe 3.0 slot and the RX 550 card uses the same interface and should work fine with the computer.

About the form factor, you need to check inside the tower whether you can fit the graphics card. Below are the graphics card dimensions.

  • 1.5 Slot, ATX
  • Dimension: 158(L)X112(W)X 28(H) mm

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

@J_Cols.

The RX550 requires the 310W PSU, as shown on my spreadsheet.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...

After you get the 310W PSU, would you PLEASE answer a question? Which of the 3 different model numbers did you purchase and  does it have a 6+2 PCIE power plug?   No one has ever reported back to me,    so I could update the PSU grid info.

hello,

sorry but I didn't understand. I'm not familiar with anything you mentioned.

do you mean that the RX550 will NOT work with my pc unless I get a new PSU?

is there any PSU that will fit my case?

thank you

@Wb2001

I searched for the PSU you suggested but with no luck. Importing it from USA will cost too much, so I come back to you.

can you suggest a GPU suitable for my pc that will NOT need a new PSU?

something that can bring in an effective upgrade, if is same as the one I already have I will pass and wait for a new computer.

thank you very much

J
