i was looking to upgrade my RAM and was wondering as to what ram i would be looking for. i have a hp omen 25l gt15-0000a and know that due to the motherboards the ram has to be pretty specific as far as i know. Or can i just pull the old ram out that is currently in and replace it fully?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
According to Userbenchmark user results, the best RAM results are achieved by using HP-branded Kingston RAM.
That said, OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop GT15-0xxx Users have successfully installed non-HP branded RAM with great results and running at 3200 MHz or higher, such as:
2x16GB of Kingston Fury KF3200C16D4/16GX https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/69538585
2x16GB of Kingston Fury KF3600C18D4/16GX https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/58921975
2x16GB of Corsair CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/68801202
2 x 32GB of Crucial CT32G4DFD832A.M16FF https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/64909235
4 x 8GB of Samsung M378A1K43EB2-CWE https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/62561305
For best RAM performance, use identical RAM sticks: same brand, model and capacity.
Hope this was helpful.

Hi, around a month ago I purchased the exact model of Kingston Fury ram you sent and my pc wouldn’t post, I couldn’t even boot to BiOS. I removed the RAM and it worked perfectly fine again. Would I be able to just remove the factory ram my PC came with and slot the new set? As trying to just buy and slot in more hasn’t worked for me.

Good questions, and I can only vouch, so to speak, for the RAM I posted, backed by actual User benchmark links. Meaning, there may be differences between Kingston HyperX Fury and Kingston Fury RAM.
I would not recommend installing different RAM modules in your PC. For best RAM performance, use identical RAM -same brand, model and capacity.
