You mean the new GeForce RTX 3050 (Ti) to be released on January 27th: GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics Cards | NVIDIA
I believe the RTX 3050 will fit -after all, the RTX 3060 (Ti) fits fine in this PC: UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2xxx Compatible Components

check out this list here:
HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000a (2Z6E1AV)
the reference you give, does not indicate exactly the reference of your computer..
There are different models, of these graphics cards, and depending on the manufacturer/models, the dimensions are different

supply power requirements may vary etc.
And your computer might just have a weak power supply.
take for example these models

If your computer is already heating up, then you have a problem.
If you added a powerful video card, and the computer is already poorly designed, added a poor quality graphics card..
yes, it is clear, that it may heat up!

Heat is indeed your enemy. But there are cooling solutions: more powerful CPU cooling fan, upgraded CPU heatsink, etc.
Look, if you are willing to invest in a major GPU upgrade, you may also want to consider investing in better/additional cooling solutions as readily available online.
