My HP All-in-One 24-cb0021na Bundle All-in-One PC (65P89EA) wont boot up. I was thinking of getting it fixed as its out of warranty. Probaly expensive so I though of buying anothet HP all in one and just swapping out the SSD. Does anyone know if that will work ???

I had the same thing happen to my edge router.   Power supply LED was not lite up like it was supposed to.  Transformers go out due to heat as most have electronics that create the correct voltage unlike older transformers that are heavy and use a lot of copper wiring to reduce the 110 to 12 or whatever.

I have slowly replaced all my critter and security cams with the cameras that use power over ethernet due to failures.

I am glad you took the system to a repair shop.  Lot of owners take a chance and buy a power supply and frequently end up with two working power supplies and a bad motherboard.

You might mark a solution for your problem.  It would help both owners and HP to know that the power supply went out.

Check out the power supply first.  If there is an LED light, verify it is turned on.

There is a picture of the power supply here but the LED, if any, is not visible.

Do any of the LEDs on the keyboard light up?  Any beeps?

Hi BeemerBiker,

I get no lights on the keyboard and no bleeps or sounds

All I get is the power light coming on and going out after a few seconds

It been a bit tempreaments on the boot up for a few days, but it did always boot up in the end

I assume that its a hardware failure that has been brewing for a week or so and has now finally failed

Hi Guys,

All fixed now

It was the PSU that was outputting the correct voltage under no load, but failed when under load.

I took it to a local repair shop and the fixed it a few hours

Aparently its a common fault
