Hey there, I am going to buy an SSD but before I do .I want to know if I can move my data across my HDD. This is because I don't want lo loose all my data with it.

@venu9 , welcome to the Community.
I recommend that you buy a Samsung SSD and use their Data Migration software to transfer your data from your HDD to your SSD. Here is a Guide that will explain it fully. If you don't have the socket for a M.2, SSD, you can buy a USB, SATA cable to connect your 2.5" SSD to your computer and transfer the data.
You will connect the SSD to your computer using the USB SATA connector. Install the Samsung Data Migration software on your HDD and start the app. It will ask for the target drive and this will be your new SSD. Select the drive and begin the transfer.
If you have a socket for a M.2, SSD, you will simply install the M.2 in the socket, install the Migration software on your HDD and start the app. Again, it will ask for the target drive and it will be the M.2.
I have done this many times without any problems.
