Hi, did you ever figure this out?  I'm trying to figure uot how to disable C-states in my own HP!

Hi,

Some C-states can be disabled in the BIOS if said function is a BIOS option.  Some C-states can be disabled in the operating system. Review this thread for an idea on some documented C-States. Some C-States can't be disabled.

Your best option is to determine which specific C-State that you would like to disable and then google it along with the operating system that you are running.

It's really not a good idea to disable C-States.

Thanks, @Big_Dave!!  This is why I turned it over to HP's staff.
