ENVY TE-01-1150xt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new desktop PC has a 1TB SSD as well as a 1TB HDD.  Windows explorer shows a C: drive and a D drive but I cannot determine which drive is which.  When I right-click <properties> on either drive in Explorer, the pop-ups look to be identical with general info about all drives on the PC.

I want to use the HDD to store docs, photos and music, with Program and system files on the SSD.  As  delivered, the PC is putting everything on the C: drive.

Hi:

Go to the windows control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk management.

There should be a disk 0 and disk 1.

Right click on the left gray shaded area for disk 0 and select properties.

You will see the model number of the disk.   Google the model number and you will see if it is the hard drive or the SSD.

Then Disk 1 would be the other one.
