HP OMEN 880-p1xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a couple of existing 2.5 SSDs prior to purchasing my new HP OMEN 880-p1xx, at the top of my case there are two readily accessible expansion bays, but these only seem to fit the larger 3.5 size for regular hard-drives. There are no 2.5 expansion slots readily available inside the case either.

Do I need to purchase an additional bracket of sorts to get my SSDs to fit snug inside this case? Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

You can buy an adapter for few dollars. For example

You need a drive tray, adapter to 2.5", and the data/power cable assembly. See here for some info.
