I have an HP Pavilion 24-k024 desktop computer. I want to remove the stand and attached a VESA adaptor so I can use a monitor arm and clean my desk under the computer. I can find any screws on the stand or under it. How can I do that?

When I looked at the bottom of the stand, I could see no screws. However, when I looked closer, I found a sheet of plastic glued/stickied to the bottom of the stand. I pulled the plastic off and found a dozen screws, three of which probably hold the bottom of the stand rod to the base. My computer is busy with a long-running job right now so I can't go forward - I will later today. I took out one of the screws - it is about 1/4" long. Very different than what the video shows for a different model computer. I don't know what I will find if I take all the screws out. The base plate is only about 1/4" thick. The screws hold a thin plate to the bottom of the base.
Keep you eyes on this spot for more details!

I found out that the base for my computer has electronics in it! So your answer is not correct. The base is not removable.
Plastic film covering base
Base cover plate
Base without cover plate
Base plate electronics

In the base are the wireless charger electronics and cables.
I wouldn't remove it unless I did not mind losing that capability.
I would have to be sure that there were VESA mounting screws on the back of the PC.

What does "wireless charger electronics..." mean? Oh! I just found out that I can charge my phone wirelessly with it. Who knew? Obviously, the base is not made to be removed. Not only that, there is no VESA ability. I guess I won't be mounting it on an arm.
